1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of pawfectpetstore.com.au (the "Site") and any purchase you make from Pawfect Pet Store ("Pawfect", "we", "us", "our"). By browsing the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version in effect at the time you place an order applies to that order.

2. Who can order

To purchase from us you must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a legally binding contract. By ordering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method supplied.

3. Products and pricing

All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. We make every effort to display products and prices accurately but do not warrant that descriptions, images, or other content are error-free. We reserve the right to correct errors, change prices, or update product information at any time. If a pricing or description error affects your order, we will contact you before processing and offer you the option to confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund. Some items are supplied via third-party warehouses and stock levels can change.

4. Orders and acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we send an order confirmation or dispatch your items. We may refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including where stock is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred, or we suspect fraud. If we cancel an order you have paid for, we will refund you in full.

5. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (which may include Shopify Payments, credit/debit card, and PayPal). Payment is processed at the time you place your order. You warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

6. Shipping and delivery

Delivery times, costs, and arrangements are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Some products ship from third-party or overseas warehouses and may take longer to arrive; estimated timeframes are a guide and are not guaranteed.

7. Subscriptions and recurring orders

Some products are offered as subscriptions (for example, our treat and enrichment boxes). By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the price and frequency shown at checkout, until you cancel. Your subscription automatically renews each billing cycle unless cancelled. You can skip, pause, or cancel at any time before your next billing/renewal date through your account or by emailing us; cancellation takes effect from the next billing cycle, and we do not refund a box already billed or shipped. We will give reasonable notice of any price change. If a payment fails, we may retry and contact you to update your details.

8. Returns, refunds, and your consumer rights

Our Returns and Refunds Policy forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. Our 30-day change-of-mind returns offer is provided in addition to your ACL rights.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the Pawfect name, logo, text, graphics, and images we create — is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Site in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that interferes with its operation or security, and not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems.

11. Third-party products and links

We stock branded products and source some items through third-party suppliers and distributors. The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and a link does not imply endorsement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or products. Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited (at our option) to replacing the goods, supplying equivalent goods, or refunding the price paid.

13. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

14. Animal safety disclaimer

Always supervise your pet with toys, chews, and treats, and choose products suited to your pet's size and needs. Information on the Site is general in nature and is not veterinary advice; consult your vet about your pet's specific health and dietary requirements.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
